Allegheny1600 Posted November 11, 2019 Share Posted November 11, 2019 Shocking news from Youtube; According to the Youtube information, "during a fire in Worms in the night of 8 to 9 November 2019, several historical vehicles (VT98, Esslinger) including two locomotives of the E44 series were destroyed. The historic engine shed fell as well was lost to the flames. Due to the first information, it should concern the locomotives E44 180 and E44 059. The first alarm was received by the fire brigade at 22:57, a total of about 100 task forces were on site, the fire department along with 27 fire engines" Sad that another such instance along the lines of the Nurnburg museum fire should happen again. Because it's still a public forum and it's perfectly possible that were there to be a prosecution, lawyers could argue that comments had somehow influenced the fairness of the trail. I would agree with you if there had been injury, loss of life, or even if the incident involved a technical breach such as a SPAD. However, in this case the scope for speculation is somewhat limited and unless the cause is found to be arson, a prosecution is unlikely, so lets's keep a sense of proportion. You are missing the point. There is NO benefit to speculation on this or any other forum - you yourself admit that the scope is limited so why are you so desperate to do it? If you want to speculate just to come up with random theories without any factual basis, head to Facebook.
