26power
Busy this morning and into the early afternoon. Had to go round a few times to get a chance to see some of the smaller layouts. At a new venue next year and promising a few more layouts. Thanks for putting the exhibition on.
RMweb Premium DRS Crewe On A Mission Posted November 16, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 16, 2019 Hi all, I hope all that attended have had a good day. Out of interest were their any new model announcements today? Thanks in advance.
millerhillboy
Superb show up at falkirk today and yesterday, a great way to bow out from Forth Valley college and onto the new venue for next year. I might be biased but there were three superb N gauge layouts in Scarlington (which had trio of trophies beside it late on Sunday afternoon), the wonderful Dragonby and the nicely executed Billingham which I particularly enjoyed I have to say. The Scarborough guys showing Scarlington also had the stunning Durham Street with superb O gauge stock. Special thanks to one particular operator who was brilliant letting my wee boy and his grandad turn a few locos and move a couple of locos about at the turntable end of the layout. Small things like that are so important encouraging the next generation. I'm doing a disservice to many other layouts which I'm not mentioning by name, I really am. There wasnt a bad layout there IMO. Special mention for the german military layout which both my wee boys loved with tank trains etc. As I say a great way to finish at Forth Valley before the move to Grangemouth Edited November 17, 2019 by millerhillboy
millerhillboy
The all round show winner, Scarlington, a superb debut with a clean sweep of the trophies. Edited November 17, 2019 by millerhillboy
Luke Piewalker
I know I voted for it. The little canal on it's own was stunning, never mind the rest of it!
