As much as I thought they were hideous conversions, the Laira split box to centre box conversions of 37031, 047 and 053 have never been done RTR before so would be an interesting choice for Accurascale to do.

Is that pic of the odd ball conversion taken in Bescot?

If so where about are we looking, north/south, up side/ down side?

I think Robs photo is the old loco holding sidings , just south of where the VQ ballast mound is now, looking north

I have said it before but I'll say it again, I'd love one of the restored Dutch ones to be done. 250 is the one I can think of but I think there's another.

I’d like a Dutch one, but in service. If they can do one easily adapted either way that would be ideal

I’m personally hoping they get around to doing the 37 variants that were used in the Royal Scotsman. I’ve almost finished my coach conversions for the train and it would be great to be able to run them with hyper detailed class 37’s as well as Hattons new 66’s.

That’s where I was thinking too, I think you can make out the platform at bescot between the 31 and container

Yes Jim.

It stands on what was No 4 Upside reception which became No 4 holding siding when locos were stabled there.  The stabling reverted to the Down holding sidings, and the these upside roads were lifted in order to place the VQ on the land.  For completeness the road to the right of the picture which became No 5 holding siding was actually the engine run round road when it was used for humping over the upside hump.

Over to the left you can see a freightliner train turning off the Up Main onto the Up goods beyond the Up platform.

Right hand drive, excellent, what are all those dials doing in front of the passenger seat.

Well if you were steering something that big and heavy you’d need help reading the dials as well.....;)

Perpetuating the myth that trains have steering wheels.

For gawd's sake don't let the Daily Fail [*] see that picture.....

Since we are going all out with the 37, we may as well show all three cab interiors....

(witness marks will be dealt with in full production!)

Presumably the needles on the dials rotate as well?

:P

Okay, something a bit different. How about a bit of Network Rail radar love? Ansaldo radar frame on left, Hitachi radar frame on the right. Yes, we have tooled both!

Again, witness marks will be polished out. Excited yet?

Any chance of selling these as separate items in order for those who already have the Bachmann models can upgrade them?
