@Accurascale Fran With the Deltics now starting to sell out on pre-order are any of the 37's getting close? I've got my eye on one of the /6's

Cheers,

We’ve not placed the order quantity with the factory yet, and will do when the decoration samples are signed off on, so you still have a bit of time yet!

Cheers!

Is there an ETA? I’ve paid for a sound fitted ROG Europhoenix one and am eying up a DRS one of some flavour and seeing if I have enough time to pay for it!

As an aside which of the DRS ones are running on the current railway in the depicted livery?

Someone may correct me but I gather it is 37602 and 37423. 37609 now has ploughs and yellow WIPAC's but is stored.

AFAIK the 37/4's are all spot on up to date. The 37/6's that are current are 37602 (2017 it appears on flickr so now probably stored currently) 37606 (according to flickr is still active) 37609 (appears to be around until 2017 on flickr as well so possibly stored currently).

I agree, in fact 419 and 425 haven't been like they are very long. 425 is realistically only accurate to the last few months now they (AS) are putting the RR branding on it.

I believe all of DRS's remaining 37/6 are stored and have been for months.

I think DRS's active class 37 fleet is the five 37/0, the 37/4s and 37716.

Awesome, looks like I might be tempted to get another 37/4 or possibly a 37/6 if their going to be delayed until Q3 :D.  I know that your looking for suggestions regarding a future run, so can I put forward these 37/0’s operated by Colas.

37116

37175

37219 “Jonty Jarvis”

37254 “Cardiff Canton”

I hope these are of interest to you.

These are the only two 37s I have seen in my hometown of Scunthorpe;

Is there any likelihood of this being produced at some time in the earliest all green livery, no yellow panels (example B/W photo in British Rail Main Line Diesels by Messrs Stratten-Stevens & Carter)

Look at the Locomotion Models section - they might be able to help you out.

I'm still waiting on mid 80s 37s, mainly /0s, /3s and /4s in standard, revised standard and railfreight/red stripe railfreight... ;)

I think the one I really want to see is 37057, in its BR Green livery as Colas had it on test trains with its headcode boxes.

To answer both questions in one hit, and hopefully without setting off others, the Accurascale Green 37/0s are from the first 5 locomotives (D6700-6704) which sport a few differences to the rest of the fleet. It's noted elsewhere.

I did also forget to make the point of SYP as well.
