Is the livery sample on the 1st EP or a revised? I see a few revisions to the end detail tooling, yet more to do. Still looking nice for what it is!

As per the update it is revised but we are making additional improvements from this sample to the finished product :)

Fantastic! The revisions thus far make for a visually more satisfying wagon. The cast Y25 bogies would be nice if the previously suggested extra detail highlighted around the bogie ends (best I have seen is Cavalex). Other than that, the key areas would be the handle bar base support which should be ‘thinner’ and with four bolts in the corners. The outmost spine should be flush and attention to the rather chunky brake panel and inclusion of the brake pull cord; could all be areas for additional improvements.

Hi Seb,

Many thanks for the feedback. As Stephen explained, there are additional improvements being made to the tooling.

Cheers!

Tooling still being improved and your web site says delivery December yet I got an email from Rails of Sheffield today saying they're in stock now?

Hi Michael,

The tooling improvements are completed and made since the decorated sample shown above was produced. The production has begun and delivery is December 2020 as previously stated. They are not currently in stock.

Cheers!

Fran

Slightly late to the party, but wow these look fantastic and I can't wait for all of us to receive them soon!

Excellent work as always!

I can't wait to see the livery samples of the 37s to run with them, which probably aren't that far off now.

Kind Regards,

Danny.

Danny,

The 37s are delayed and according to Accurascale, should be available in the 2nd quarter of 2021.

Definitely worth the wait as the photo samples posted so far look superb.

Thank you for posting and I'm not fussed at all. I will echo the comments of others and say that I would rather wait for a few more months for the definitive 37 to be produced to Accurascale's excellent standards, than models be rushed and arrive with lower quality, errors and QC issues etc.

I have to say I'm incredibly fortunate and grateful to be able to buy a few of these 37s, especially in the current difficult circumstances. The detailing looks excellent and as for the Wipac lighting arrangement on 423 and the 37/6s, equally as excellent and these noses and lighting arrangements just scream DRS, Europhoenix, ROG and HNRC. Just some of the many reasons I can't wait for the livery samples now. Can everyone tell that I just love modern image!?

Don't tell Fran and the Accurascale team but I have been mentally wishlisting all of the 37s I would love to buy, so least to say roll on the second batch. I just can't think of a better loco and a better manufacturer to produce said class to a definitive level. Simply amazing, what's going on here.

Kind Regards,

Danny.

We hope to be able to share the EP's of the 37 range in the next few weeks.

Hi.

Anybody looking for Mk2F DRS coaches for your KUA's  ?

Just been on Ebay, (17/10/20 @ 1050) , and there are quite a few Hornby Mk2F BSO's for sale.

A couple are 9525.  Some are 9521's ..... will need renumbering ?  (Don't know)

regards

...and now for the video to wet the appetite.

MODA 95770 was the vehicle heading north...95771 remains at Devonport for now...hopefully to return north soon, with escort coaches?

KUA wagon MODA 95770, Ryecroft

And a video from a couple of months ago, showing the older MK2a escorts are certainly still alive and kicking!

EDIT: found a better shot in sun of the KUA, showing the faded paintwork, in the post below on another thread:
