Hi @Accurascale Fran,

Do you know if the KUAs have started shipping out to customers yet?

Thanks

Hi there,

No not yet. Covid restrictions here are still on the heavy side so it has taken longer than planned to get organised. We will start shipping next Tuesday all going well.

Cheers!

Rather disappointed to hear the news about the slight delay to the KUA's, as i purchased the recently released Bachmann DRS 20 312 yesterday in readiness for their arrival, now both 20 312 and myself are looking at each other rather glum and much shrugging of shoulders are taking place.

send him light engine to Plymouth so he can collect the KUA and escort coaches once they're loaded at the Dockyard.

You afraid the flasks might be leaking?

Obviously the load that was being conveyed went missing in transit.  I guess that's what happens when there is no escort coaches to accompany them. :-)  There will now need to be an investigation.

Seriously, I'm looking forward to the call to tell me to come and pick mine up from my local retailer.

Just make sure that the paperwork for the courier says 'toy train', not 'nuclear flask'!

Jon

That will just open another argument/civil war with those that are in denial about Model Railways being part of the Toy Industry rather than scale modelling!

Given the sensitive nuclear nature of these wagons I’m not expecting any news on deliveries from Fran & the team at Accurascale. In fact the more incognito the better, they will arrive when they arrive. If word gets out you’ll have the CND, Greenpeace and all

out in force trying to block deliveries to you!

Cheers

I definitely didn't include that on any customs paperwork on the N gauge KUAs...<walks off quietly> :secret:

Apologies to anyone now on a watch list.

Cheers Mike

Deliveries are accompanied by several big blokes in dark romper suits and assault rifles, they don't leave a card if you're out.

Hi everyone,

Our warehouse team is almost finished processing the delivery of KUAs from the factory and shipping will be underway before this weekend. As our team is still working in compliance with Covid restrictions, it has taken a bit longer than it would under normal conditions. We apologise for this slight delay.

Cheers!
