PeteScR
Does anyone have a source for foam inserts that fit inside 4L Really Useful Boxes (except for Ten Commandments), suitable for 4 mm scale stock ? I got some before for the larger boxes from JB2mmWorld but he doesn't seem to be answering emails so may not do them now. I know other methods of stock storage are available so would like to keep this on-topic. Thanks Pete
RMweb Gold Mick Bonwick Posted December 3, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 3, 2019 Jon still does them - I bought some at Didcot and at Newbury back in October. I suggest that you persevere with the e-mails.
RobjUK
How about cubed foam / pick n pluck inserts? They are readily available on ebay, you just make whatever size cavity "nests" you need for the items you will be storing. eg. Each of these would cut in half and do two of the 4L boxes, if I'm getting the sizes right - so ten box inserts for £15. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5x-Pick-Pluck-Foam-Cubed-Insert-Flight-Carry-Camera-Case-Travel-Box/352851661381?hash=item5227991245:m:mB6s8EOPy-CbKB-I7GTOkAw 1

But he only lists N Gauge items on there, and the OP asks for 4mm items. Still, he might be able to make contact that way.
PeteScR
Thanks to everyone for their responses and advice. I contacted Jon via his eBay ID and he got back to me, my email had gone to his junk folder! Cheers Pete
