Stafford Railway Circle Exhibition Update 1

Good news in that I understand there will not be a Antiques Fair at the Showground on over our exhibition weekend.

This will mean we have even more car parking available, a lot of it on tarmac.

Stafford Railway Circle Exhibition Update 4

Thought I would share a few photographs of Whiteacres the Stafford Railway Circles flagship layout that will be at our exhibition on Saturday & Sunday 1st & 2nd February 2020

This year the layout will feature Steam and early Diesel traction a first for the  Whiteacres layout.

A large majority of the locomotives are fitted with sound .

Below are a few photographs of Whiteacres in its normal guise with 1990 - 2010 rolling stock.

Further information and a full list of layouts, traders and demonstrators can be found on our website.

Worth the entrance fee alone, and now looking forward to this show more especially as Cross Country trains also had a deal on I couldn't resist.

Here's the courtesy bus timetable for the weekend, weather permitting.

Very much looking forward to this Terry, especially as I think I'm going to have some rather large 7mm buildings to make for our new project.

Hopefully our little display of Modern (post steam!) 7mm models will be of interest to folk again. Now we've three weeks to get a few things moved on!

Actually it has only snowed three times in the last 30 years, and only once causing travel disruption to us all on Saturday of the exhibition.

On a positive note all is on plan and the club is buzzing and looking forward to this years exhibition.

As ever some great layouts and support from the model trade (including some new traders including Scale Model Scenery, MMRG Exclusives, Made in Manchester )

It usually snows the Stafford exhibition weekend!

I don't recall it snowing very often, although it did a couple of years or so ago.  It's fair to say that the weather usually is typical of Staffordshire in February, that is, chilly and varying degrees of damp. But then again, what better place to be when the weather outside is manky than in a warm and dry exhibition hall with lots of great layouts on show!
