waggy
I have a Bachmann sound fitted J11 and wish to disable DC operation, the leaflet says its controlled by cv 29 bit 2 , i presume it's not as easy as setting cv 29 to 2 as i understand cv 29 covers other functions. Thank you in advance. Graham

RMweb Premium newbryford Posted December 13, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 13, 2019 The CV29 calculator is quite good. Short version for disabling DC running. Read whatever value is in CV29. Subtract 4. That's your new value for CV29 Cheers, Mick
Pete the Elaner
If you are able to connect a computer (Windows, MAC or Linux) to your control system then I highly recommend downloading JMRI & installing it. It gives you a check box for DC operation. Uncheck this & you have disabled it
