Farish LMR brakevan

I notice from the new Farish collectors club winter leaflet that we are getting a brakevan rather than a Class 90 in OO. However, it must be the highest specced brakevan in history given that its going to cost £269. 

 

On a serious note did Longmoor use MOD only waggon stock or did they have BR stock coming in and out.

The Longmoor system used to connect with BR at both ends, both Bordon and Liss featured exchange sidings. I’ve just taken a quick look in my  copy of “Branch Lines to Longmoor” (Middleton Press) and noticed photos showing private owner and SR branded wagons on the line, but no coaches, I assume that the LMR used its own internal-user passenger stock. Hope this is of use!
