Excuse the shameless plug but if you haven't ever visited the ANISTR.COM website maybe Christmas would be a good time to browse!

We are trying to build up a really comprehensive collection (still early days) but we do think that it is very easy to use and browse. Our Search function is very easy-like Google- and it looks through the description attached to every image and the many keywords also implanted. There are many tens of thousands of images waiting to be added- probably far more than my lifetime will allow, but hey let's keep at it!

We are also thrilled to be introducing David William's magnificent 'colourised' BR era images. which are black and white originals skillfully brought to life with careful and well-researched addition of colour.

Although the main aim of the website is browsing enjoyment, all images are also available for personal download, as actual  photographs and a s high resolution digital downloads for books, magazines and commercial usages.

Wow.   I like the fact that you've used an excellent image of a G class John, and a quick visit has turned up some interesting images. Many thanks for doing this
