RMweb Premium Northmoor Posted December 22, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 22, 2019 I am starting this thread with a specific query but others should feel free to use it for similar queries. I was looking through some of my old scanned 110 format photos and found this taken outside Bristol Industrial Museum in summer 1984. I have searched a couple of on-line databases and the VCT site suggests it ended up at the short-lived Thingley Junction site. Can anyone confirm if this unique tank wagon was scrapped?
RMweb Gold Bucoops Posted December 23, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 23, 2019 Present location unknown - possibly scrapped - http://www.ws.rhrp.org.uk/ws/WagonInfo.asp?Ref=7132
RMweb Premium Northmoor Posted December 23, 2019 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted December 23, 2019 Thanks, that's the VCT site. I might have a photo taken from the road bridge around 2007 when the (heavily stripped) coaches and I think the tank were still there.
