AMJ
Just wondering who's sound project people are thinking about fitting into the new Bachmann NER E1/LNER J72? Presumably there will be someone who tweaks the settings for the firebox glow. (Not a new idea remember when Triang had this in DC!)
AMJ
Had a communication from Jeremy at Digitrains they have a suitable project that I'll be picking one up at Pontefract exhibition later this month.
AMJ
Video to follow soon as I picked up a Zimo chip today from Digitrains at the Pontefract exhibition.
AMJ
At last I have got around to doing a short (2 min) video of the loco operating now that I have fitted the chip. Used the factory speaker as pre fitted by Bachmann Not tweaked any of the Zimo settings other than decoder address Not sure that you can properly see the flicker from the firebox whilst the fireman puts on a few rounds. I assume the flickering firebox is on AUX1 as no other lighting is installed in the J72 model (why no cab light btw?). Cheers Mark
AMJ
Bachmann have normal light F0 and Aux1 for the firebox flickering.
waggy
Quote Hi AMJ. I also purchased the J72 Sound Decoder at Pontefract show along with a stay alive capacitor, do you happen to know the stay alive connections on the PCB.
