Just had a email for my pre order direct with Hornby that it is in stock there and is being made ready for dispatch.

Me as well I'm looking forward to receiving this beautiful locomotive! Although I'll probably be just as excited or possibly just ever so slightly more for my BR Class 370 APT-P or BR Class 91 with the MK4 DVT and MK4 coach rolling stock! ( Original INTERCITY 225).

Hi,

Just spotted that R3841, the named version, is also now in stock at Hornby.

Simon

My wife asked me what I would like for Christmas, I think I'll ask for a new blanket for the dog house.  If  Rails have their Autocar and TMC get some Hush Hush, she will invite me to live there when she finds out how much I've spent this Christmas!

I wonder if delivery of the model in LNER Blue and ER green ….rebuilt…..is imminent. Looking at online images of 60700 the green appears to be slightly anaemic once again .A unique loco which seemed always to be at the buffer stops on spotting visits to KX.in the 1950’s.

TMC have asked for payment  for R3841, it may even reach Canada before Christmas.

Dog house is rather spacious, and the dog seems happy to share.

Likewise with R3840, also soon to be on it's way to me.

The Hermes tracking for my W1 says it is still awaiting parcel from Hornby for the last 4 days. Anybody received theirs via Hermes yet?

…….oh, and Hornby said it was ready for despatch last Tuesday.

I do hope those aren’t scuff marks on 10000

Looks like a trace of oil from the picture, which is not uncommon when locos are shipped.

Although I have no use for one, it looks to be a superb model. Lovely  !
