RMweb Gold Popular Post queensquare Posted January 6, 2020 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) Well, the rumors are true, Larkrail is set to return in July 2020 with its usual eclectic mix of models and modellers, plus the added bonus of Kim's kitchen and cakes. The venue is again the delightful New Oriel Hall in Larkhall, Bath BA1 6RA Very few details, have been finalised as yet but the show is now being jointly organised by Simon Castens and myself so what could possibly go wrong! More details to follow. Jerry and Simon Edited January 8, 2020 by queensquare 20 2

RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted April 9, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 9, 2020 I hope the sofa is going It’ll be a bit weird for Larkrail not to keep wandering from shop to show and back, it felt like another room of the show! You’ll have to bring the sofa and stand to the hall and turn the cafe area into the Thunderbolt

RMweb Gold Not Jeremy Posted May 4, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 4, 2020 (edited) With great regret, Jerry and I have decided to put off the return of Larkrail until next year, when (hopefully) it will be safe to have a gathering. We will aim for the same weekend in July, in the same place. We felt that even if restrictions were to be lifted this year, partially or completely, it would still not be possible to have a completely safe and relaxed gathering in the context of what Larkrail is about and the age profile of those who visit and exhibit there. However, the good news is that the bard of Cathays had written us a poem to celebrate the return of the show, which I have great pleasure in releasing here for you all to enjoy. A first class return to Larkhall For the finest miscellany of all There's trains of all gauges And books thru the ages In that Shop down the 'ill from the 'all Oh! We've waited a couple of years For the show to return, so three cheers! There'll be tea and some cake And make no mistake In the pub later on... a few beers Thank you so very much Roger for that, you are a true legend and I look forward to welcoming you (and everyone else) back to Larkrail and Bath as soon as it is possible.
