Andy_Richards
I have a Hornby class 47 TTS sound decoder in my Vitrains class 47, sounds good with a new bass reflex speaker. I’m trying to increase the start voltage but can’t seem to find which cv I need to adjust. Does anyone know which cv I need to adjust? Thanks Andy

Thanks Andy Hi, I don't think Hornby TTS decoders currently have a start voltage CV or a speed table. Regards Nick
RAF96
Normally it would be CV2 but TTS does not support this adjustment. Edited January 7, 2020 by RAF96 Typo
cravensdmufan
Agree, there is no way you can adjust CV2 start voltage on any TTS decoder. With all my TTS decoders (and I have many fitted into Bachmann as well as Hornby locos) I have set CV150 to 1 and then adjusted CVs 153 and 154 to suit the motor. Have managed to get really smooth control along with nice slow starts. Sure, it does take time to fine tune the CVs but it really is worth the effort. 1 2
