The theft is reported as taking place a week ago Sunday night - i.e. during the night of 5 January - being discovered by the Estate Manager on the afternoon of the following Monday.  Signs taken reportedly include the following - Nestlé's Milk, Virol, G.P. Government Tea, The London Daily Chronicle, and Lyons Cocoa, as well as various tobacco and cigarette adverts.  CCTV apparently did not pick up any unusual vehicles entering or leaving the estate.

According to what has been reported any information regarding the theft to be given to to Thames Valley Police on 01491 574873, crime reference No.43200006334.

I blame the TV antique  shows the claim these enamel signs are worth a small fortune and make them all a target for a certain type of person.

Personally, I blame the parents for bringing their offspring up without morals and respect for other peoples property and allowing them to become thieving b*stards.

Tie 'em to the track....

Probably not helped by all the exposure on GMRC - possibly the same mob that did the same to Arley on the Severn Valley?
