Our phones and collection counter will be open during the following hours: Sunday 20th - 10:30 - 15:30 Monday 21st. - Closed Tuesday 22nd - 10:00 - 17:00 Wednesday 23rd - 10:00 - 17:00 Thursday 24th - 10:00 - 14:00 Friday 25th - CLOSED Saturday 26th - CLOSED Sunday 27th - 10:30 - 15:30 Monday 28th - CLOSED Tuesday 29th - 10:00 - 17:00 Wednesday 30th - 10:00 - 17:00 Thursday 31st - 10:00 - 14:00 Friday 1st - Closed Following days subject to review. These two weeks are usually our busiest of the year, and having to shut down is a real body-blow for us. If there is anything you need or want, please support us by buying something via our website, or by phone and we will do what we can to serve you, we sell gift vouchers for any value and we have good stocks of locos, rolling stock, track and accessories. Collection is available and we will aim to ship any orders as quickly as we can. I am also considering local same-day delivery options. Thanks for your support, stay safe and have a merry Christmas!
RANGERS
Best of luck and hope this doesn't cause too much of a hit to trade but as you say, this is a real body blow to yourselves and so many retailers at what is for a substantial proportion of them, the time of year when the bulk of their annual profit will be generated. Hopefully the website and C&C helps keep things rolling. Would be useful to have a Paypal facility for website purchases, it avoids passing the funds through the bank account where SWMBO has full sight of transactions. I'd never have made it into 0 Gauge if shops didn't accept Paypal!

Dan Griffin
Was in the shop earlier and saw the KR models GT3, impressive loco, even if it is out of my timeframe. Trains for you is now a KR Models stockists.
Ed-farms
22 hours ago, Dan Griffin said: Trains for you is now a KR Models stockists. Interesting how kr models said originally "retailers take too much profit" when asked about sellign the N gauge kings to shops, wonder if they changed their policy now
Trains4U
I don’t think it was ever “policy”, more an observation. I ordered a handful of GT3s at early buy prices and am selling them at retail price, which nets us a modest margin. I consequently had a discussion with Keith about forthcoming products and we now have an arrangement for most of those products based on reasonable expectations of a business like KR Models.

andyman7
Due to a holiday in the vicinity we were able to visit the shop for the first time. As the photos suggest it was clean and well stocked, and my son was pleased to find a model that was out of stock elsewhere on the shelves, whilst I was also able to pick up a couple of items that had proved elusive elsewhere.
