Sophia NSE
I'm trying to take a Triang mk1 apart but the screws securing the roof to the chassis just go round and round without actually loosening. Am I missing something or is this a real problem?
LNWR18901910
Nice model. Even though it lacks a wall on one side, it looks like a cross-section given model form.

The plastic thread has stripped in the screw sockets in the roof. 1] Unclip top of ends from underside of roof. 2] Put some upward pressure on the roof whilst turning the screws. Simples! Sophia NSE
Thank you John, a little bit of force later and the roof was off!
BernardTPM
It is sometimes possible to remake the thread with some liquid solvent and dissolved plastic, using the screw as a mould. When thoroughly set carefully unscrew. 1
