You can see on the underframe where the wheels should sit and approximately what size they should be. LNWR18901910 Posted July 12, 2021 Author Share Posted July 12, 2021 And here we are, another Retro-style model nearing completion! I know the nameplates are a mite big but it's the best I can do. Getting specially-commissioned nameplates takes a bit of time and money. I did write to the companies but I didn't hear back. And yes, the tender lining's not the best but with some tidying up, it'll look better. Apart from that, a nice model all the same even though it keeps stopping and starting every now and then. Totally agree, need to track down an old Triang Std 3 and nick the bogies. The old one on the K4 is earmarked for this Another use of a Hornby Ivatt chassis with a frame extension from the GBL one.
