Dapol semaphores manual control

Maybe a daft question but do Dapol only sell their semaphore signals with motors attached?  Reason being I really like them and one in particular suits the location I'm modelling rather well - but I'm not interested in having it motorised or modifying it to a servo, would rather operate manually with a wire-in-tube type arrangement.  Has anyone tried this with these signals and how did you go about it if so?

I do not think they could be readily modified for WIT.  But if you need just one, why not just accept it is power operated?

 

 You could probably even cobble a switch so that whatever lever frame you currntly use can actuate the switch.

Thanks ColHut - yeah, was thinking along those lines, I just really dislike the sound of the motors.....but have just come across the new release junction/bracket signals with the servo controls so I'm going with one of them with a couple of modifications to suit a slightly more northerly location!
