Hopefully this will be of interest to some - a new 132-page bookazine which I've compiled that takes a largely photographic look back at Direct Rail Services to mark its 25th anniversary year. This covers everything from the Class 20/3s through to the Class 88s with all the other loco types and key developments in between. It also includes full details of the loco fleet, including the likes of acquisition and repaint dates.

I picked this up at weekend and I have been enjoying reading through it, great to get an understanding of the company's history. Would be fantastic if they did similar volumes for all the current fright operators.

I picked up a copy in my local WH Smiths today.

 

Excellent photo history of DRS with superb photos. Never really been a fan of DRS but I think I may become one now!
