Hull & Barnsley Rly Bracket Signal.

By chance I found tonight a photograph of one of the first signals I modeled, a H&BRly two doll bracket signal, this would be c1968. In those dark days of fifty plus years ago there was very little available trade wise. I recall the signal arms were white metal castings, the finial which should be hollow a plaing brass turning, both of these parts were sold by Hamblings.  Move on some years to when I made a similar H&B bracket, today we are in comparison completely ruined by the suppliers.  Nicely etched arms and fittings etc and correct Lost Wax cast open finials etc.
