RMweb Gold RFS Posted February 7, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 7, 2020 A famous film by the Lumiere Brothers in 1895, recording the arrival of a train in France and reportedly the first moving film of a train. Now someone has gone to the trouble of upscaling this to 4K and the results are stunning. Next step I would have thought would be to add colour .... RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted February 7, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 7, 2020 IIRC the film was made by the brothers to record their mother coming back from a shopping trip and was an early experiment of theirs, hence a train appearing in such an early motion picture.
