Stefen1988
Hi Folks, I brought the Graham Farish Merchant Navy Class "East Asiatic" in BR Express Blue. Can someone, who has the same Class tell we what the large Black Disc is for? - and why is there a spare Part for the Front Bogie Frame included? Pre Grouping fan
Hi, I don't have one personally but I hope this helps in some way. The black disc is at a guess a headboard for the smokebox door. These would need a transfer with the appropriate named train to be applied to it. I've read they come with the smaller white headcode discs for the lamp irons as well. The front bogie either has different sized wheels OR no coupling pocket on it? I've seen it mentioned in a review that it is an alternative for people who don't want a front coupling fitted. Some manufacturers include a bogie with smaller/larger wheels for people with so you can choose depending on the curves of your layout.
Stefen1988
Its only a Frame/Body for the lower half of the Bogie, no Wheels or uper Side. The Black Disc is only Black, there are no Decals or similary Sutff included.
grahame
Doesn't the instruction/service sheet give an explanation? Have you tried contacting the manufacturer's support/service/parts/help department and asking them?
