Track Atlas 3rd edition V the individual Quail Maps

Just wondering what the relative merits of the Track Atlas 3rd edition over the individual Quail issues was? obviously there's the cost, but does the former cover the lines in the same level of detail as the individual ones?

 

Looking to buy either or whichever shows the most detail.......

The Track Atlas is in map form rather than just straight lines which can be useful. It does not always cover sidings apart from showing where they link to the main line so from that point the Quail line maps are slightly better but I find it is useful to have both and so have a full set of the Quail maps which I keep up to date as each is updated and also all three issues of the Track Atlas.
