RMweb Gold Right Away Posted March 4, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 4, 2020 Not certain of the dimensions you require but I once considered making my on but found that Roxey Mouldings produce very creditable etched brass disc sets for a most reasonable price. https://www.roxeymouldings.co.uk/product/463/4a109-sr-locomotive-headcode-discs/
RMweb Gold Graham_Muz Posted March 4, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 4, 2020 Officially on the SR they were called “Engine Head Signal” discs, not As often quoted ‘headcode discs’ or ‘route discs’ they were of course replaced by lamps during the hours of darkness although lamps were also acceptable during the day as well. The SR versions were 15” dia and usually made from 1/8” plate .
