The German Railway Society is pleased to present Globalrail 2020, our annual model railway exhibition with a decidedly non-UK slant. In addition to the 11 layouts in the main exhibition, this year will include a special gathering of 6 continental TT scale (1:120) layouts. All content will feature railways from around the world plus full trade and society support. Light refreshments, ample free parking and step-Free access throughout. Venue is approx. 10 minutes walk from Didcot Parkway station.

No, I have double- and triple-checked with the venue, so hopefully no surprise phone calls the afternoon before the show this time around!

Plenty of the colours of the spectrum on Blue Heron (US HO)- I think my next layout will be in monotone to compensate...

It will come as no surprise to you that, in light of the government's latest advice to avoid public gatherings and non-essential travel, the GRS have reluctantly decided to cancel this year's Globalrail show in Didcot on Saturday 30 May 2020.

 

The hall has already been booked for 2021 and I would hope to include as much of this year's content forward to 2021.
