RMweb Premium CF MRC Posted March 9, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 9, 2020 It’s not often that a direct comparison is possible between the three different scales in our ‘size’. However, for some time I have had the 1:148 Dapol A3 and Denys Brownlee’s 1:152 A1 to compare. This weekend, a 1:160 Hachette static Flying Scotsman was weathered and made a little less crude. Putting them all together, the differences in size are immediately apparent to the eye, less so to the phone camera which builds in significant distortion. The small A1 may well end up tucked in next to the Midland Roundhouse on the light engine road on CF, behind York Road viaduct. Tim 6
