That looks good; what colour did you use to paint the concrete (before you started weathering it)?

Hello  31A,

Base colour for the concrete area is two colours from the Tamiya acrylics ...

1 xf-55 Deck tan...

2 xf-78 wooden deck tan..

Thank you, I'll have a look and see whether I've got Humbrol equivalents (can't get Tamiya from the model shop at the moment!).

You could use Humbrol matt 28 its off cream colour Steve...

Thanks not sure whether I've got that one; 121 is quite a good colour for all sorts of 'masonry' ....

Along as you have black, white and yellow,

you can make your own light grey colour..

Where did you get those fire extinguishers from? I have a similar area to detail. I spent many years on and off depots and that's looking good. Here is a shot of the interior of the F&I point at Burton on Trent.

The barrel on the trolley contained antifreeze, there is also a small electric pump used to top up the coolant on class 56 loco's. BR at this time didn't bother with antifreeze normally for most loco's (HST excepted), hiding just behind the trolley is the water top up and a second fuel pump. Outside you can just make out the pump house and fuel storage tank and a TTA tank wagon, picture was taken in the summer of 1980 when I was a young 2nd man! Happy days.

Good job. My attempt in thick card resulted in temperature induced warping leading to poor running (lifting wheel off contact rail) that is on my to do list!
