Ive cut the bottem open now filled inside with bit of old led fishing weight..:D

Hopfuly that should help out Karl..:whistle:

After reading this thread I dusted off the old Ratio crane kit box and made a start. I think I can honestly say that anyone who has done this kit has lost a few years off their life, instructions really need rewriting and the fence work drains your life force from you lol.

But if you spend the time on it that it deserves then I think your onto a winner, he’s the top section which I’m calling done until I sort some lights for it like the real thing. Have also cut out the plastic walkways and replaced with mesh.

and paper work isn't the best Robin.

Think I ended up making my own handrails not the kit ones...

Here are my static grass clumps made on grease proof paper for easy removal..

Along with other main scenic colours used throughout this layout and my others like

Colmore /banks road..
