ianwales
Hi all I am looking for 2 article that appeared in the Railway Modeller some time ago, the line between Crianlarich and Fort William was modeled in the BR Blue period in N Gauge and there was a later follow up article where the owner had added the terminus at Oban? jjnewitt
The fist article was entitled West Highland in N and appeared in The January 1990 edition. The author/builder was a Chris Thorp. Not sure on the Oban article. May have been October 1991 going by the cover but my copies are in store and I can’t find the contents for that month online. LBRJ
Oban was indeed featured in the RM for October 1991 and there is currently a copy for sale on Ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-Railway-modeller-Oct-1991-Contents-page-shown-in-photos/192811322370 The whole project was fascinating and got me very interested in large layouts in N..... The builder also did a later job of Exeter St Davids (and half of Devon!) which was even better to my WR focused eyes...
