Why am I getting a sort circuit when I try to run a train into siding number 1. If I disconnect siding rails after the point B there is no short but neither is there any power ,although point A remains fully operational.

I am using Peco insulfrog points with seep motors,  Wired as DCC with 16v power supply all in N gauge.

All help appreciated, I have plenty of free time!

Hi, Two things

1. have you placed insulated rail joiners between points A & B.?

2.have your checked that the wires are correctly connected to siding 1?

also have you tried running the layout without the feeds on siding 1

I know a number of questions

I would then check we're you are getting the power from for siding one as it seems you may have a bad connection or broken wire which needs replacing.
