deltanw12
Why am I getting a sort circuit when I try to run a train into siding number 1. If I disconnect siding rails after the point B there is no short but neither is there any power ,although point A remains fully operational. I am using Peco insulfrog points with seep motors, Wired as DCC with 16v power supply all in N gauge. All help appreciated, I have plenty of free time! johnd
Hi, Two things 1. have you placed insulated rail joiners between points A & B.? 2.have your checked that the wires are correctly connected to siding 1? also have you tried running the layout without the feeds on siding 1 I know a number of questions
smokebox
Rewire the power connections so that all the INNER rails are the same polarity and all the OUTER rails are the same polarity rather than upper and lower.
Tricky Dicky
Are you sure you have all the droppers connected correctly as you have indicated on the diagram. I would be tempted to as a quick fix to swap the two droppers on that siding and see what happens. Richard

smokebox
You have conflicting power connections causing direct short circuits
