can anyone suggest where I can find some flour near Seaton?

Or indeed near anywhere?

That is the one thing consistently still missing here.  And by accounts from many other places too.  Not because we are short of flour (we're not) but because there is no capacity available to increase production of the smaller bags we use in the home.

All I have seen these past few weeks has been chapati flour.

If you can't get any kind of flour (rice flour would do), then try finely ground up almonds, which CTMK uses as a GF alternative to normal flour. The supermarkets around here are full of nuts.

Can CK not arrange another of those excellent 08 driving experience days on the West Somerset please?

We are not well off for Pastys in Gloucestershire - might have to make do with something from here...

Being as the border has been declared open for the weekend so I have some time off is there room for me not to bring my new little layout? Or maybe I could not bring Ravensclyffe as it hasn't had an outing for a while..

A good job Stu has arranged for elastic walls this year as you'd fill the hall. It'll be nice for it to have an outing, I was watching some clips earlier today of its outing to Stafford in 2012.

I have not been checking my route from the North West Leeds Highlands to the far south as like usual I won't make the get together due to other calls for my non cricketing activities.

Mind you those Pasties look cracking..

Trouble is they looked exactly the same as ones that were first seen about 6 or 7 years ago when they

were made so they may be a bit stale by now .      :mocking_mini:

Well I'm going to rebel, I'm going to make a lemon drizzle cake - just for myself of course, I wouldn't want to spoil your fun!

All the best and thanks to all of you who are providing something useful for this non-event

Godfrey

Pop down to Cornwall and you should find some drizzle.

Not at the moment you won't.

It's proper sunshine, not liquid sunshine.

As it’s now just a week away and this is the first outing for my new layout, it’s almost time to start thinking about building a fiddle yard.

I've not built mine either yet, plenty of time.

I still need lighting as well.

And scenic work.

And buildings.

And a backscene.

Pah, loads of time.

On a more sobering note,

May I thank all of the Internet Providers for making this and other entertainment possible without whom non of us would be able to enjoy the event.

Yep, agree wholeheartedly.

Also a mention for the hosting companies, who are battling unprecedented demand in some cases but still providing an excellent service.

And that nice mister York, he don't do bad for a beginner...
