As a Yorkshireman that regularly holidays in Cornwall, I thought liquid sunshine IS proper sunshine !! :dirol_mini:

cheers,

Phil

Depends on the time of year.

Height of the holiday season with plenty

of emmets (visitors) around you get liquid sunshine.

Spring and autumn when it's mainly locals,

you get proper sunshine.

There's bound to be something; there always is, isn't there?

Just let me go and check . . . . . .

That's not a good idea, Peter, I'm not surprised you didn't think of it earlier.

I see adhesive,  tomatoes, wax, pudding, more tomatoes? and don't eat the last one! but no paint.

All the materials you need for painting and lining a GWR Castle, isn't that obvious?

No. I have two Farish castles but am unable to find just the right tint of stone texture paper to complete them. Maybe I really do lack imagination...

TWO tins of tomatos? Has someone been hoarding?

When shopping recently at a well known supermarket I bought 3 jars of gherkins and 3 tins of anchovy fillets. When asked if I was hoarding I suggested they asked if any other customers wanted them.....;)

That's enough to get you isolated and it won't be social!

Postie has just delivered essential supplies for the Pub Quiz.... ok it ain’t from SWAGonia but it’s very good. Will share a virtual bottle with all on the evening. Now just need to get in supplies of cockles and pork scratching.....

Just noticed that cider is 8% abv! No coherent answers from me then ....

Just finishing a batch of questions for the Quizmaster; I don't think coherence is going to make the slightest bit of difference. :biggrin_mini2:

Coh ...... what? :drink_mini: :drinks: Hic!

I am absolutely definitely making the most advanced of all preparations to not attend.  Even the clean shirt is not yet laundered.  The ticket to Taunton has not been booked and neither has the hotel.   SWMBO has not even been appraised of my not going and may be surprised at Sunday's turn of events ;)

The strongest cider I’ve ever had was Cider House Special by Special Cider Company, near Bridgnorth. 7.3%, but the apples that went into it weren’t picked by monks. ;)

Off to Morrisons later, does anyone have any recommendations on stuff to get for not preparing for the exhibition?

So I turned it over to see the conditions (I've not had a first class ticket for many years)...
