Black5 Posted April 17, 2020 Share Posted April 17, 2020 Afternoon all, I`m about send off to Fox transfers to complete a Black five as Glasgow Highlander. I wonder if anyone could tell me what the shed code might be for the model when it ran for a while with British Railways on the tender? The only picture I`ve found is in a copy of Modellers Backtrack from Dec 1992. The photo shows the positioning of tender lettering and cab side number position but I can`t make out the shed code. RMweb Premium Ian Smeeton Posted April 17, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 17, 2020 According to BR Database it carried 31A until 1950 (the LMS Shedcode for St Rollox (Balornock)). then 65B, the Br Shedcode for the same, which it carried to withdrawl in 1966.
