rhysnationalexpress
A little bit of spraying today on the front of the DBSO followed up with a picture of two 57’s that I got this week I couldn’t resist one of my favourite liveries ,I’ve attached a picture of a 57 pulling some Mk2 Anglia rolling stock ... which will run very rarely on our layout, maybe as a “special “ one Heljan - weathered one Bachmann - brand new thanks for looking

muddy water
A better coach as it is a mk3a as in being the loco hauled stock, rather than HST. It has the right roof vents at the ends, rather than the HST style ones. Now for you to make it a four window type RFM! Are you going to make the 8 window TSO? As there were normally only two 7 window TSO per train? What will be your train length? Mk2f DBSO two 7 window mk2f TSO 68XX four 8 window mk2f TSO one mk3a RFM or mk2f RFB two 7 window mk2f FO class 86 or 90 You have made more progress than I have, as I have only done the first paint coat on a Hornby ex Great Central 4 window RFM. Got it cheap when no one wanted them!

rhysnationalexpress
It’s going to be a mix really So far I have DBSO, standard mk2 , standard mk2 , standard mk2 , Mk3 buffet car , mk2 first class , mk2 first class , class 86 currently working on doubling that set above ... so I will have two sets And I’m also looking at completing the following which I’ll be chopped and changed .... Anglia BSO Anglia mk2 buffet then another 5-6 rolling stock which will run on special services .... we also have a ONE - ANGLIA MK3 set with class 90 and DVT in one colours and we are looking into finishing off a mk2 intercity set do you have a link for your layout? muddy water
No topic for my home layout. This has been a work in progress for too long! A folded figure of eight round the loft. I have done a few n gauge layouts. Newton Craig went to the club’s exhibition. I started this one in December, but it has stalled and waiting for inspiration. My club has a good OO 3rd rail layout, I have been working on.

Got pics of various mk2 and mk3 short sets, (Blue/Grey, Anglia, DRS, National Express liveries) if their any use to you ? Cheers, Phil.
surfsup
Joining in on the Hello too, Nice work with the Anglia Mk2s! For the Mk3 RFM - Depending on how much you want to spend, your best bet is to use the Oxford Rail Mk3 RFM available here: https://www.hattons.co.uk/231179/oxford_rail_or763rm002_mk3a_rfm_restaurant_first_modular_buffet_10201_in_intercity_swallow_livery/stockdetail.aspx

surfsup
On the Mk3 RFM Front, you have a good number to chose from as Anglia had 10203 / 214 / 216 / 223 / 228 / 241 / 247.
