cypherman
Hi all. I am in need of a the engine weight for a Lima prairie. Can any one tell me where I might get one. I have tried the usual places with no luck.
Simon G
I don’t have the Lima weight for the Prairie, but I do have a good supply of lead sheet, which could probably be formed into something suitable. Being lead, it might also give better traction with the extra weight. The only issue is that I am on a 12 week self isolation, so can’t easily get to the Post Office just now. PM me if you are interested.
Pete smith
Use the weights intended for alloy wheels. They have adhesive backing and available in strips guess whE rE bay. Excellent Pete
cypherman
Hi Pete. I tried that but it was not heavy enough. So I ended up buying a scrapped prairie. One even beyond my restoring hands and used the weight from that. The rest of the scrapper has been dismantled and added to my spares boxes.
