Cor, just scraped in with an average of 5 per quiz (and I even got two on the music round, the other 8 were just a noisy jumble and I only thought there were 9 in total anyway).

Good quiz apart from the Canadian flag errorin Round 3 because Canada did not adopt that flag until 1965 so a Jubilee can't have been named after it could it.  But then if you say it could then surely Dominion of Canada would be just as good an answer?

PS Where's Litchfield:scratchhead:

I've asked for a Judge's decision because I put DoC. Crossing my fingers to get a yes so I can get into double figures!

Very surprised to get 10... I was expecting to be marched out of the room/forum; accused of being a spy or something!
I was going to post my answers, but on second thoughts I would like to retain some sort of dignity... (just don't talk to me about how round 2, 3 and 5 went....)

Many thanks to Phil and Andy for putting this quiz together; I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I averaged 2 per round - so 10.

(I even got 2 in the music round and they usually send me out for that round!)

Kev.

Loved - it.

You had me rushing back to look if I'd made a typo as it's one of my pet hates, that and Bridgenorth.

So the score by round for me -

Round 1 - 7

Round 2 - 3

Round 3 - 5 (it would increase to 6 if 'Dominion of Canada is allowed)

Round 4 - 8

Round 5 - 2. (and I'm amazed I got that many

Total 25

Thought I'd be different and go for Sir Trafford Leigh Mallory instead of Sir Keith Park...

Well done Phil

That was fun

I got 18 which is not bad given that my interests are purely  cross channel.

I'm giving myself  a point for the first Airfix loco being the Rocket because you didn't specify Airfix GMR and I built that loco when it came in a plastic bag .

I.m also awarding myself a point for A4 Dominion of Canada because that's still the country's official name.

I'm kicking myself for not spotting Ryde Esplanade because I know it well from the air.

Thanks again and I shall now reward myself with a nice glass of Calvados.

You are lucky. Our laser display board operator was supposed to specify RTR. He will now be sacked.

I put both of those. Crossed them out and finally went for 34055.

Brilliant stuff Phil, very entertaining, thanks very much.  Did you have Samantha sitting on your right hand?

I was waiting for Jethro Tull's "Locomotive Breath" in the music round,,
