This weekend (January 30/31) was supposed to be the big Springfield Show.  Given the physical show had to be cancelled they are doing a 2 day virtual show.

The link is https://virtualrailfan.com/amherst/

A schedule can be found on the left side of the page.

Thanks for posting this.  I probably missed something obvious but I couldn’t see which time zone the schedule is in to calculate the UK time difference?

Repost from a mailing list, for those who like the Rock Island

For those who can't make the scheduled time the slide shows remain on YouTube for future viewing.

Quote

My name is Tom Hogan, I am Treasurer of the NRHS Iowa Chapter.  The
Iowa Chapter has been producing a series of YouTube slide shows over
the last several months.  These shows have featured a wide variety of
photographers and subjects, however the next show may be of particular
interest to your group.  The February Iowa Chapter slide show will be
entirely dedicated to the final five years of the Rock Island from the
Larry Anglund collection.  The show will be available for viewing on
Sunday Feb 14 at 3PM CST.  Here is a link to the Iowa Chapter YouTube
page, where you can also find archived versions of prior month's

Hiya.

I have signed up for this presentation, will try and get my head down for an hour before hand.

Will all the time zones in the US change on the 14th March?

Many thanks for your updating post.

James.

NMRA British Region Membership Registrar & Renewals Officer.

Time zone change will apply to all areas of the US and Canada on March 14th except any places that don't do time changes (Arizona, Hawaii in the US - Saskatchewan, Yukon Territory in Canada)

The North American dates are set by the US government as the 2nd Sunday in March / first Sunday in November and the various Canadian provinces/territories deliberately follow the US dates.

The Railway Modellers Meet of British Columbia will be virtual this year, with a keynote held by Iain Rice on May 1st and then Thursday evenings on May 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th will see Clinics, Virtual Display and Meet the Modeller and much more.

(while the keynote is on a Saturday at 10:00am PDT at a guess the Thursday evening format in the Pacific Time Zone will be a bit inconvenient for those in the UK / Europe).

Registration is now open, and like some of the other virtual meets they are accepting donations to help cover costs.
