Nearholmer Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 Diesel, as in real diesel, compression-ignition, is exceedingly, hugely challenging at that scale, and even spark or hot tube engines are challenging, both for reasons of physics. Administrators Phil Parker Posted May 4, 2020 Administrators Share Posted May 4, 2020 It's not something we've covered in Garden Rail, but I think something has appeared in Engineering in Miniature (Sept 2017 - https://www.world-of-railways.co.uk/store/back-issues/engineering-in-miniature/engineering-in-miniature-september-2017) in the past.
