RBC
Reference Bachmann Class 47541 'Queen Mother' in Scotrail/Inter City Livery which is like gold dust to obtain unless your willing pay a high number. Looking for a donor loco to replicate the above with minimum changes, apart from needong a chassis swop and the livery difference, is 47612 'Titan' the same body moulding/detail ? RMweb Gold cambo74 Posted May 29, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 29, 2020 Also 541 when in intercity had flush ends at one end so you'd have to fill it ..... sadly thats why it commands such a high price as a fairly unique body shell .....
RMweb Gold Dagworth Posted May 29, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 29, 2020 7 minutes ago, Eddie R v2.0 said: Are you sure? 541 became 47773 and even now still has normal headcode boxes at both ends. 47461 had a flush end at one end and they go for even more mental money! I’d love to see a pic of 541 with a flush end as that would be a great one to model as it’s that bit unique. cheers The pics i have of 541 in IC livery show normal headcode panels both ends, flat markers at no1 and sealed beam at no2 end. Not my photos though so cannot post them here. Andi
