LMS locomotive allocation histories - sources?

Hi everyone,

 

Are there any sites or books that give allocation histories for LMS locomotives during the grouping?  I am looking for something along the lines of what BRDatabase, Ian Allan ABCs, etc, do for the nationalised era?

The Wild Swan series of LMS Engine Shed books have some allocations.

 

Otherwise you are looking at the individual class histories in books by Wild Swan. Irwell and RCTS.

 

There is this for the last day however. Which is a good start.

Hi Jason,

 

The Irwell book on the Fowler 3F is really good for that information, however the one you suggest look to be very much what I am looking for.  I'll order a copy today.
