RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted June 1, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 1, 2020 Can some expert pls advise if these are one and the same? I need to replace a Jinty chassis and reasonably priced 1F's seem to be more readily available.

RMweb Premium Alex TM Posted June 1, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 1, 2020 Hi Metr0land, The 'Jinty' is longer over the frames, and has a different wheelbase. It may be worth trying Amazon or eBay for a used one, and do a chassis swap. IIRC Hattons had some used ones in a couple of weeks ago. Regards, Alex.
RexAshton
Are you sure you need to replace the existing chassis? These are generally reliable units and Bachmann's spares service in - in my experience - very good.

Bachmann's spares service is excellent in my experience.
