Penlan
Due to damage by visitors to my 'Saxby and Farmer' Signalbox, which I built some 45 years ago, I now have to replace (amongst other items) the windows. Rather than than using micro-strip (again) I'm wondering if there's a fret out there somewhere that will save me a bit of time/sanity. The individual frames are 3 panes wide by 2 panes high the overall measurement of each frame is 14mm wide x 10.5mm high. This is the signalbox prior to being damaged - everything above the planking's damaged. I use 5 thou microscope glass BTW. for glazing. RMweb Premium Mark Forrest Posted June 4, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 4, 2020 If you can provide them with a drawing, York Modelmaking will cut some for you: https://yorkmodelrail.com/bespoke-services/ Might be an option if nothing is available off the shelf. A young, two legged, I was out at the doctors, at the time, but SWMBO thought it would be alright for them to 'have a look'....... Domestic atmosphere at present is 'frosty'. 1 1

Maybe something here: http://lcut.co.uk/index.php?page=pages/hub&title=LCC Signal box&gauge=OO I had a look, and although there are some of the right configeration, or at least look as if they could be used, without the dimension it's difficult to tell. The ones I would like are only 14mm x 10.5mm, these are small. I shall check it out though, and they are cheap enough.
