Thanks indeed for the comments  chaps  very kind . it still needs a few bits like passangers on the platfom .  well not to many as room is tight . mind you summer hikers  etc .   and there is the problem of a signal of some kind  at the end of the platform all to think off . and i need a class 121 for the passangers  as there is no way of squeez ing a single coach and loco on there . For earler  time  span late 1960's etc i have a parkroyal  rail car so that takes care of that .

On the subject of passenger trains, why not try 'bitza' trains. Run your loco of choice into the platform with the carriage of choice, allow time for your passengers to disembark then propel it back into the run round loop (i.e. the fiddle yard), plonk the loco onto the other end of the train and propel the carriage back into the platform, the secret is not to show its a single coach train by always leaving part of it under the bridge.........

Just a thought

i have just been trawl ing  through some old pics   and came across , thease  its  the original fort henderson layout i built a long time a go  and where  i pinched the name from  for my micro . in fact  the base board was given to me by my friend of a faild southern region layout he never started . his idear was to get me back in to oo scale as i was more in to narrow gauge at the   time .

Excellent!  This looks really effective: things like the tufts of weeds growing out of the bridge really show the attention to detail.

Thanks  Keith glad you like it . i got the layout back out from under my work bench with the in tension  of do ing some more work on it . But so far nothing has happened as i have now started Mucking   around with some ON30  bits . but that all ways happens with any of my builds  they get near 90% finished and putt away  till that last burst of effort  comes back . the class 24 needs a decent dcc decoder as it ran like pants  . i might have a spare one knocking around some where and fit it . a lot of my decoders end up being swapped around till i loose  track of them:D. and some hedgeing is needed to go behind the low wall  station end .them the jobs go  on and on .
