Not sure this has been mentioned but the NR logo is wrong. The model has the old logo that was changed many years ago.

I think I mentioned it a few pages back and somebody came with the three versions of the logo.

Here, not even a few pages back

I aren't sure what you are trying to say, this was covered by CazRail in the post I linked above

He is answering my query, and thanks. Better eyesight than me.

And a further detail change on 43014 since it's mishap on the Old Dalby test track.

New buffers of a different profile.............

Such are the joys of modelling the contemporary railway

I think that’s going a bit far for Hornby to do lol. At least new bodies are allegedly on their way. 2nd time in recent years I believe, after the Class 60 Bow Fell cock up? Big ups to Hornby for doing this.

Just a wild thought...

Has anyone checked the prototype, real things?

;) :jester:

For the avoidance of doubt here is a dead side-on picture I took last week. I’ll let everyone make their own minds up.

Is it just an effect of the photo, or is the 'dot' above the 'i' in 'Network Rail' on the side of the model circular instead of square?

the whole typeface for the logo is wrong, it is close but no cigar. Apart from the i, the k, R and t are most noticeably different.

I’ve written to Hornby twice about this, allocated a ticket number so they’ve had my complaint but had no reply. I’m going to ring customer services next week and follow up.

I have also spoken with ROS and they have no idea about replacement bodies being manufactured, but let’s hope Hornby are keeping it close to their chest....
