The model has the old logo that was changed many years ago. I think I mentioned it a few pages back and somebody came with the three versions of the logo. Stryda
The NR logo in your photograph has the three red lines disappearing into a point; The model has the three red lines separated; Logos side by side (old and New); 1

Class 158 productions
Interesting to see this slip through, in my experience I have noticed a severe drop in quality from Hornby, neigh all manufacturers in recent years. There has been many issues with the 002/198 pack that was released alongside the nmt. Hopefully we get a statement or ‘fixing’ from Hornby.
Minty847
Have e-mailed Simon Kohler, Marketing & Product Development Director at Hornby, who advises that they will be having some extra decorated bodies produced, but with no ETA at this time. 2 3

At least new bodies are allegedly on their way. 2nd time in recent years I believe, after the Class 60 Bow Fell cock up? Big ups to Hornby for doing this.

Ruffnut Thorston
Funny, the dot looks square to me on the model photos in the post before Tom’s.....as well as the real one.

Lochnagar
Seeing as my layout doesn't have an incline I'll be saying yes to the replacement bodies if they appear! Nice move, saves me reworking the logos. I'll ask the retailer about it, guessing they'll be request items.
martin_l_jones
I’ve written to Hornby twice about this, allocated a ticket number so they’ve had my complaint but had no reply. I’m going to ring customer services next week and follow up. I have also spoken with ROS and they have no idea about replacement bodies being manufactured, but let’s hope Hornby are keeping it close to their chest....
