Captain Slough
I took inspiration from an old 1980s modelling mag's article on making a Class 80 to start making a BR LMR class 310 EMU in 1996 from 4 Hornby Mk2s (the other mk2-derived multiple unit...) Dapol railcar lower cab front, upper cab carved from a chunk of solid plasticard, inset sections of plasticard for the suburban-style windows (each side has several mk2-style windows as well and those were in the right places) It turned up again last week while looking for something else. I thought I'd finished it but had no pantograph and no glazing in one car. Must have got distracted.. I was like that when I was a teenager
