Hi people, I’ve just joined up having been pointed here whilst doing a search for military (bomb carrying) wagons - I got taken to a thread about the Fauld explosion. I’d not really had much interest in railway modelling until my wife bought me a bundle of 10 year old Hornby magazines at a car boot sale that now make up my breakfast reading, so I’ll blame her for setting this off! I’m trying to decide what sort of layout I’d like to try but have found myself leaning towards something industrial or, more likely, a military scene. I’ll just lurk round for a while and do some searches to gain inspiration, seeing if there is anything similar to what I’m looking to do, which I’m sure there will be.
